Bio: Coming from a background in ping pong, Charley quickly became fond of pickleball during the tail end of COVID, gathering people from his church to play. Years later, as a World Pickleball Tour National Champion (January 2025) with a 4.5+ DUPR rating, Charley has reached the pinnacle of amateur competitive pickleball. With a Massachusetts teaching license and two years of coaching experience, he is passionate about helping players of all skill levels and age groups refine their techniques and develop a deeper love for the game. Additionally, he leads a weekly group and provides extra repetition with a ball-serving machine to maximize practice and improvement. Bio: My first coaching experience would be with F.C. Stars. I would help run various training camps and other similar programs, along with serving as an assistant coach to some of the younger age groups. I also have gained much experience working as a teacher/tutor at Kumon and the Russian School of Mathematics. Most recently, I finished a fantastic fall season with Challenger in the Mass area while doing private coaching with Dribbler on the side. My playing experience peaks at D1 soccer as a striker. I am currently trying to get back into playing and play locally semi-pro.

Bio: Adam Griggs is Bentley’s Associate Head Coach and Offensive Line Coach. A former All-Northeast 10 offensive lineman at Bentley, Griggs was the Tight Ends Coach at the University of Rhode Island in 2024 where he coached All-CAA fullback Tommy Smith, who was invited to the Pittsburgh Steelers Rookie Mini Camp. Griggs also coached a Rams offense that saw All-American running back Malik Grant set the program single-season rushing record. Prior to his time at URI, Griggs was the Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach at the University of Rochester, where he coached 14 All-Conference offensive linemen and tight ends. In the 2023 season, Griggs' offense ranked second in school history with 193 completions. Rochester's offensive line was honored with a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week following a 285-yard, 5-touchdown performance against Alfred State. In 2022, Griggs’ offense eclipsed 2,000 rushing yards total and was led by All-American running back Daniel Papantonis. Prior to Rochester, Griggs was the Special Teams Coordinator and Tight Ends Coach at MIT. He began his coaching career at Assumption as the Tight Ends Coach in 2007. He then returned to Bentley where he was the Offensive Line coach, Assistant Offensive Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator for the Falcons through 2011. Griggs then returned to Assumption where he was the Greyhounds’ Offensive Coordinator, helping to develop NFL Tight End Scott Simonson. He went back to Bentley in June, 2013 and was the Special Teams Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach until 2017 when he moved to MIT. A three-year starter and four-year letter winner for Bentley, Griggs was a two-time All-Northeast 10 offensive lineman, earning 1st Team accolades in 2004, when he also earned All-New England regional honors and Don Hansen All-America Honors as well. Griggs also excelled in the classroom, earning CoSIDA Academic All-District honors in 2003 and named the Gridiron Club Student Athlete of the Year in 2004 and 2006.

Bio: My pickleball journey started in 2010 at a Maine camping resort, Point Sebago. As a seasonal camper for 10 years, I played and became a pickleball ambassador, teaching fellow campers the basics. My passion for PB grew, earning my instructor certification in 2020. Now, I am able to share my love for the game teaching for local town Rec Depts, private lessons, corporate and groups.
