I had my first lesson with Tiffini today and she was very professional and so sweet! She cares about your voice and gives honest advice and trains you on breathing and pitch, how to listen for your chest, mixed voice and head voice and how to use your diaphragm to get those sounds projected or forwarded out. I will be setting up another class with her soon!
Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI sit down with the student and ask a few questions to get a better understanding of what they are interested in learning and music they are interested in singing. We then stretch our bodies to relax any tension in the body.
Next, we will do simple vocal warm ups for me to assess their voice.
I will ask the student to sing a song that they already know. It does not have to be a full song, normally just the first verse and chorus.
I will then help them from there based on my findings and teach them the proper technique to sing in there song.
At the end of the lesson, we will define their goals and what I will help them to work on moving forward.
