About your tennis coach

Greetings! I'm new to North Carolina, was just transferred by my company to Triad area. I was recently privileged to be coaching 13 students weekly in December 2025. I'm a former Tournament Competition player who played at the Championship Tournament Level with 20 years of coaching, I enjoy helping players of all levels reach their full potential on the court. I foster a fun, yet disciplined environment where skills are honed and a love for the game is ignited. I purposely keep my hourly rate as low as possible, not for lack of experience but rather to allow young ones and all families to be able to afford an introduction to this wonderful game. I am a busy professional but like many other busy coaches, I volunteer for Programs at various schools and clubs to help underprivileged kids and was proudly volunteering my time for the Aceing Autism program in DFW and look forward to joining the local effort as well.

What stood out the most in Eduardo’s lesson was how clearly he demonstrated each technique. His step-by-step modeling made it easier to understand and practice. This session was both engaging and informative. If you want to improve your game with practical guidance, Eduardo’s lessons are worth trying out. You’ll enjoy learning in a supportive and focused environment. 🎾

Honestly, Eduardo's approach really stands out. He’s quite patient and I appreciate how he allows me to correct myself and take my time. Even when I was frustrated with my serves tonight, he encouraged me and we shifted focus to ground strokes. I think with a bit more work on ground stroke consistency, it could be even better. Still, I feel like I learned a lot and am looking forward to trying more lessons with him.

The lesson with Eduardo was quite helpful, especially since he helped me improve my backhand and serve. I feel like I have my footwork and volleying down pretty well, so it's encouraging to focus on specific aspects like match-context for my backhand. Still, I’d like to see a bit more development on my serve to refine it. If you're looking for a coach who can target detailed technical parts without overhauling your game, Eduardo's worth considering.

That lesson left me reassured and hopeful, with my son clearly picking up techniques and momentum. Progress is steady, and I’m eager for what comes next in the lesson.

I loved making good progress during my lesson with Eduardo. The session was well-paced and focused, helping me improve my game effectively. There were no suggestions for changes, so I'm looking forward to continuing exactly like this. If you want to improve your tennis skills, I definitely recommend trying Eduardo’s lessons. You won’t be disappointed! 🎾

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI share how much fun the sport is, review Tennis Game rules to begin. We learn Forehand and Backhand Basics, the best grip for the student between Continental grip, Western grip and other popular grips. We focus on "racquet facing" to court and net to help with ball placement for a beginner
Lesson 11+Begin extensive baseline rallying with sharp attention to Form, Technique and Placement. After focusing on first 3 Critical Points, we then Focus on adding Power and Spin to the well rehearsed Technique of the Forehand, Backhand and Serve
Lesson 4-10Sharpen Forehand skills, sharpen Backhand skills. Fine tune Serve, introduce Detailed Footwork and Coordination exercises, begin rallying to correct Form and techniques from Baseline, correct Serve and adjust each step of the First Serve motions, practice volleying for placement strategies
Lesson 2-3Review and practice Forehand and Backhand Basics, Introduce Serve and Volley, and depending on length and continuation of Lessons, we may focus on Serve technique on lesson 3. Always review what we've learned so far

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonThorough Review of their Goal with Tennis and desired outcome of Lessons. Self Review of strengths and weaknesses. Baseline rallys and mini games to judge true skill level, as well as target areas of deficiency. Finish session with definitive Game Plan for following lessons
Lesson 11+During an Advanced Program with a seasoned student we will review critical points of their game where they are feeling a deficiency still. Game theory and strategy becomes more of a focus and ability to spot weakness in opponent's game. Not just weakness in ground strokes or their volleys, or their Serve but also in an opponent's Mental compusure, Footwork and physical fitness. High level Tournament and matchplay can have these and other small factors determine success and advancement to the podium. My advanced level students receive this type of deep review and instruction.
Lesson 4-10Focus on sharpening skills in Form, Technique and ball placement. Review Game Theory and physical exercises and drills to improve Game Time preparation
Lesson 2-3Address most deficient area of weakness. Outline Correction of Form or Technique and begin active correction after every shot with emphasis on student Auto correcting self. Footwork factors in for many Advanced Players and they don't even realize it. During advanced competition and tournament play it can be a deciding factor with 2 equally skilled players. I will video and take pics during critical moments of play and We will review the students Footwork for improvement.

Youth players
Working with kidsFun is the goal with kiddos! I always make sure they are enjoying themselves. I teach correct racquet grip and racquet angle to keep the ball inside the fence. If I see a young one appreciate and apply the correct technique then, I'll help them get better with more advanced guidance, if they show they wanna get better. If the young one is just having fun with a new sport, then I'll show them the fun side of tennis too. I'll offer some good feedback to the parent and positive steps forward if the young student shows a desire to improve.

Working with teenagersI truly enjoy this age category because it reminds me of when I started playing, when I was 13 in middle school. The teenage years are such a prime moment in life for learning and exploring sports. Sports and discipline go hand in hand. I'm able to make very specific adjustments, suggestions and offer very specific guidance for a teenage player that can be retained well and immediately implemented. My hyper specific observations on Form, Technique and Racquet Power can quickly make an impactful difference in that youngster's performance on the court. When an excited teenager sees these immediately positive results it can translate to even more focus and dedication to practice and goals being set. I appreciate the positive benefits that Sports and Discipline brought to my life and really value tennis as a force contributor in that dynamic.

What you need to bringRaquet if possible, water bottle and a can of tennis balls
