A dedicated member of SAGAFTRA, Aaron has built a diverse career spanning television, film, commercials, theater, voiceover, and performing arts education. Aaron teaches students of all experience levels how to break down a script, develop audition techniques, create memorable characters, make successful self-tapes, on-set protocols, and find representation.

I hold a BA in acting from ASU and trained in musical theatre in New York at The Stella Adler Acting Studio. I am an award-winning playwright, screenwriter, and director of actors who teaches Scriptwriting at Howard University. I coach actors in audition preparation, scene study, monologues, self-tapes, and acting technique using the Transformational Character Acting Method, a methodology I developed to help actors uncover the hidden story driving a character’s behavior. Drawing from Michael Shurtleff, Judith Weston, Lee Strasberg, Viewpoints, and my own approach to character transformation, I help actors identify a character’s prior wounds, limiting beliefs, protective behaviors, objectives, and ultimate transformation. By understanding what a character is protecting, what they fear, and who they are becoming, actors can make truthful, specific, and emotionally compelling choices.
