Do I need a certification to teach?

No. A certification is one kind of proof, but you can also show your playing or teaching experience with a photo, a video, an award, or a team roster.

Can I get approved without a proof of experience?

Yes, if you add at least one photo or video of you teaching in Name & Photo.

What counts as proof of experience?

Updated October 26, 2026

To get approved, your profile needs one of these:

A proof of experience in the Credentials section
At least one photo or video of you teaching in the Name & Photo section

You also add your years of experience in Credentials.

What counts as proof

Proof can show your playing experience or your coaching experience. For example:

A certification or license
An award or a competitive result
A team roster, or a photo of you on a school or club team
A photo or video of you teaching or playing your skill

If you taught as a school teacher or a tutor, a photo or a document that shows it counts too.

You do not need a certification.

Where to add it

On the coach dash at app.teachme.to, open your profile and upload your proof in Credentials.
