How do I add Lesson types and Pricing?
Updated
TeachMe.To gives coaches full control over their lesson offerings, pricing, and group size. You can edit your rates, adjust lesson types, and set your maximum number of students directly from the Coach App.
Below is a step-by-step guide to updating everything:
1. How to Adjust Your Lesson Pricing
Step-by-Step
- Open the Coach App
- Tap Profile in the bottom navigation
- Under Teaching setup, tap Rates & packages
- Choose TeachMe.To to update your TeachMe.To rates
If you have a CoachSite, choose CoachSite to manage its rates and packages on the web.
This is where you set or update your pricing for:
- Private lessons
- Group lessons
- Multi-student sessions
- Different lesson durations (if applicable)
Use the Built-In Pricing Calculator
When adjusting your rates, you’ll see a built-in calculator designed to help you choose competitive and fair pricing.
Here’s how it works:
- Enter the amount you want to earn per lesson
- The app automatically calculates the final lesson price the Student will see
- You can adjust the number until you find the ideal combination of income and competitiveness in your local market
To compare your rate with other coaches near you, tap How you compare.
This tool helps you:
- Understand your take-home earnings
- Stay aligned with pricing norms in your skill and ZIP code
- Maximize Student conversions while still valuing your time
Choose How You Earn From New Students
Under your rate, the Pricing for new students section shows two options. You can switch between them at any time. In the Coach App, you find this section on the Set your rate screen. On the coach dash, you find it in the Set Your Payout section of your profile editor.
- Standard: You earn your full rate on every lesson. New students pay your regular prices.
- Get more students: New students see lower prices on their first pack. You earn an intro rate on the first lessons you teach each new student. After those lessons, you earn your full rate.
Your listing uses Standard until you choose Get more students.
How Get more students works
- A new student is a student with no earlier paid purchase on TeachMe.To.
- The lower prices apply only to a new student's first pack.
- Every pack size gets the same percent off. Bigger packs still cost less per lesson than a single lesson.
- The intro rate applies only to the first five lessons you teach each new student.
- Returning students pay the returning student price.
- Students who already bought lessons keep their price. You keep your full rate on those lessons.
- Get more students does not apply to Coach Shop packages.
- Get more students does not apply when a student checks out with your referral code.
To turn on Get more students
- Open Set your rate in the Coach App, or the Set Your Payout section on the coach dash.
- Select Get more students.
- Move the slider under How aggressively do you want to grow your business? The slider goes from Steady to Aggressive and shows the percent off for new students.
- Check the preview. It shows what new students pay for 1, 3, and 10 lessons.
- Compare the new prices with your Standard prices. The Standard prices show with a line through them.
- Check what you earn per lesson for each new student.
- In the Coach App, tap Turn on Get more students. Tap Turn on to confirm.
- On the coach dash, your choice saves automatically.
To see both options side by side, tap Not sure? Compare both options in the Coach App. On the coach dash on a computer, click Compare options. On a phone, tap Not sure? Compare both options.
To see how the TeachMe.To fee works, tap How our fee works.
To switch back to Standard
- Select Standard.
- In the Coach App, tap Switch to Standard.
- Tap Switch back to confirm. On the coach dash, the confirmation shows after you select Standard.
Students who already bought keep their price, and you keep the new-student rate for them.
