With over 15 years of competitive coaching and player development experience. From forming my own soccer club and being the club development director, I’ve worked with players from grassroots to high school, college, and professional level…With specializing in technical development, confidence-building, game understanding, discipline, and helping players perform at a higher level both on and off the field. I’m the founder of MK Soccer Performance Agency to give players a home for consistent, high level training in Arizona now.
"Coach Martin pushed me to work at a higher level every session. I improved my first touch, awareness, and overall understanding of the game. As a midfielder, I was able to understand the game better, and helped with my conditioning as well

I’ve been a youth soccer coach for 3+ years now, and have enjoyed every second of it so far. I focus on making sure athletes are enjoying the workouts, because in my book having fun is the most important thing for them to experience at these younger ages. While we primarily work on soccer skills, I also take the opportunities to teach them the real-life skills they can develop from soccer like how to be a good teammate and how to respectfully win or lose. Excited to start, hope to see you there!

When I work with kids, I make sure the sessions are super fun, energetic, and imagination-based. I turn drills into games and stories — like dribbling through lava or escaping from sharks. I keep instructions really short and use lots of demonstrations, because young kids learn more by seeing than by hearing. The focus is mostly on building coordination, basic ball control, and most importantly, confidence. If they’re smiling and moving, we’re winning.

I try to interact with the parents and the kids at the same time to understand what the kid & parents need from me as a coach. Most importantly, I believe being personable is a good trait to have and as someone who worked as a soccer coordinator for i9 sports tucson, I have adapted this a lot.
