Hi! I'm a passionate soccer coach with over 16 years of playing experience and 3 years of coaching experience. I've been in love with "the beautiful game" since I was 5 years old, and that passion still fuels me today. I currently coach at CCV and continue to play in competitive 11v11 recreational league in Tempe. My goal is simple: to help you become a better player technically, mentally, and physically. Whether you're just starting out, want to improve specific skills, or are preparing for competitive play, I’ll work with your unique goals to create a personalized training plan that gets results. I believe in developing well-rounded players and building confidence both on and off the field. I’m fluent in Spanish, which allows me to connect with and coach players from diverse backgrounds. I recently graduated early from Grand Canyon University, earned my DASM certification, and have a proven track record of being hardworking, reliable, and driven by results. Started playing soccer competitive at 10 years old for Grove United FC in Illinois. Played with the club for approximately 6 years right before I went to high school in 2010. I switched clubs to play for Jean-Pierre Tokoto, who played for Cameroon at the World Cup in the 80’s, at FC Tokoto until 2014. In high school at Adlai E. Stevenson, I captained the sophomore boys soccer team to an undefeated seasons and went to play for varsity at the beginning of my junior to senior year. I played collegiate soccer at Elmhurst University for 4 years and travelled with the soccer team to France and Spain to play second tier academy teams. Through rigorous training from ID camps, travel soccer, training with semi-pros, and physical fitness, I increased my knowledge and fundamental skills to help the teams I played for reach for many finals, championships, and bragging rights over rivals. “Futbol/soccer is the beautiful game”- Pèle.

"Our two boys were looking to raise their skill level and Coach Roger helped with that by making our sessions fun and challenging. Their training time was maximized with tons of touches on the ball. They were given homework and did it all which gave them goals to work toward during the summer. Our oldest son even made a club soccer team for the first time after training with Coach Roger. Before we began training with Roger our younger son had difficulty putting the ball in the net even though he had a lot of chances.
