Beginner training plan
Your first lessonBy focusing on the fundamentals such as passing, dribbling, defending and shooting. I believe it is essential to master the fundamentals before moving on to anything advanced.
Lesson 2-3They can expect a higher intensity session. This can include drills such as pass and go, defending against counter attacks, shooting under pressure etc. The list is endless :D
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonWe will focus on drills such as possession with limited touches, turning on a defender and shooting, defending against a cross.
Lesson 2-3Drills that will focus on endurance, agility and stamina, followed by a team game.
Youth players
Working with kidsI try to interact with the parents and the kids at the same time to understand what the kid & parents need from me as a coach. Most importantly, I believe being personable is a good trait to have and as someone who worked as a soccer coordinator for i9 sports tucson, I have adapted this a lot.
Working with teenagersTeenagers are tough to deal with for anyone ( jokes obviously) but they are in a constant battle of balancing between academic and sports so developing a plan that help them succeed on and off coach is what I will be focusing on.
