How do I search for a Coach near me?

TeachMe.To makes it easy to find skilled, independent coaches in your area for sports, fitness, and skill-based activities. Whether you’re looking for golf lessons, tennis coaching, pickleball training, swimming instruction, or personal fitness sessions, searching for a coach nearby takes just a few steps.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Enter Your Zip Code or City
Start by going to teachme.to and typing your zip code or city name.
You can also share your current location, based on the GPS information of your device.
This helps us show you the coaches who teach closest to you.
Don't worry: we don't store or share this information with anyone. It's only used for search purposes.
If a TeachMe.To team member sent you a booking link, your browser may ask to share your location when the link opens. If you allow it, each lesson location shows how far it is from you. If you decline, the locations still appear without distances, and you can tap Share your location to enter your zip code or address instead.
2. Choose the Skill or Activity You Want to Learn
Next, select the activity you’re interested in, such as:
- Golf
- Tennis
- Pickleball
- Swimming
- Fitness & personal training
- Yoga…and more, depending on your city.
Each activity will show you coaches who specialize in that skill.
In the Student App, you can also choose how you want to learn:
- In person: coaches who teach near you.
- Online: coaches who teach live video lessons, wherever they are.
- Both: coaches near you, with online coaches marked Online in the list.
Sports open on In person. Music opens on Both. You can change it at any time.
3. Browse Coaches Near You
Your results will automatically display coaches sorted by:
- Experience and qualifications
- Ratings and verified reviews
- Availability
- Price and lesson options
- Distance from your location
You can open each coach profile to see photos, bios, teaching styles, locations they use, and open time slots.
Music teachers can list up to 10 favorite artists on their profile. Look for Favorite artists to find a teacher who likes the same music as you.
4. Filter or Compare Coaches (Optional)
Depending on your search, you may also filter by:
- Expertise level
- Availability windows
- Price range
- Locations where they teach
This helps you quickly narrow down the right match.
5. Pick a Coach and Book Your Lesson
Once you’ve found the right coach:
- Choose the lesson type
- Select a time
- Book and pay at checkout. Your coach usually confirms the lesson within 24 hours, and you’ll receive reminders before your session.
