My experience began playing tennis at the age of six at Alexandria Sporting Club in Egypt, and I competed at a high national level throughout my junior years. Achieved top national rankings in Egypt, including No. 13 at age 12, No. 4 at age 14, and No. 6 at age 16, and consistently ranked within the top 10 from ages 12 to 18. Competed in ITF (International Tennis Federation) tournaments and gained international match experience. I have been a high-level competitive tennis player for many years, progressing through USTA tournaments on into the Division I collegiate level at Sacred Heart University. Before Sacred Heart, I played a couple of years at Division III Allegheny College where I was a two-time all-conference singles selection, became captain as a junior and was a representative of the team on the student athletic advisory committee. At Sacred Heart, I was named captain my senior season and received the student-athlete award for the highest GPA on the team after my first semester. In addition to my playing experience, I have many years of coaching experience. I am a current RSPA Elite Professional, and have organized and run my own private lessons and programs. I have also coached at various country and athletic clubs in Northern NJ and New York, along with having been an assistant men’s coach at Army West Point. I am sometimes available at the Jersey Shore in the summer as well.
