I have been playing tennis for twenty years, a passion instilled in me by my father, who taught my sisters and me to live and breathe tennis. During my time playing Division 2 tennis in college, I had the opportunity to volunteer at an afterschool program, teaching young children how to play tennis. Over the four years of coaching at Reading & Requests, I learned that valuing a student's input is an effective way to coach and that constant praise for good techniques leads to rapid skill growth. In my lessons, each student will learn the six basic strokes, how to keep score, proper hand placement, and the rules and regulations of the game.
