"We booked this experience last minute (day before on a whim, and we couldn't have asked for it to be any better! David was absolutely fantastic and had both our kids (ages 5 and 9) comfortable on a surf board very quickly. They were both able to stand up and surf (not every time, but both at least once!) and just really had a blast trying it out. Communication and scheduling was quick and easy. Working at summer camps as a water ski instructor and lifeguard, I have experience teaching children water sports. For kids, it is very important to choose equipment and surf conditions that are suitable not only for their age but their skill level and water competency. Just as important though, is making them feel secure and confident throughout the lesson. Therefore it is key that the parent or guardian work with me to tailor the lesson for their child(ren).
