That lesson with Jeff really hit the mark for me. I appreciated how he broke down the fundamentals without overwhelming and kept things natural. Still, I think it would be helpful if he provided a bit more guidance on specific movements for next time, though I feel more confident about catching waves now. Jeff is incredibly patient and stays fully engaged throughout the lesson, which really helped me feel comfortable on the board. The pace was just right, and his encouragement made a big difference. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will first have a casual conversation so I can get to know you and understand your comfort level with the ocean. This will include assessing your individual skill level and any previous surfing experience. From there we can go forward building on what you already know. Most importantly, we won’t rush you into anything you’re not comfortable with. We’ll start with basics on the sand, covering physical as well as mental parts of wave riding. From the sand we’ll move to the water when you’re ready. We will have as much fun as possible while elevating your skills and knowledge. I’ll send you home with some basic “dry land” exercises to help with muscle memory.
