I've been surfing for about 10 years, having competed in the shortboard division on my high school surf team. I primarily ride short boards, ranging from thrusters to twin fins, but I also have experience with longboarding and other alternative shapes. As an avid surfer, I hit the waves daily whenever conditions are good. Over the past 5 years, I've enjoyed teaching many friends how to surf and sharing my passion and knowledge of the sport.

I'm very uncomfortable with the ocean and Cole's easy going personality made the experience very fun for me. Surfing is something I've been wanting to try and have been afraid, but cole really helped with that!

My family came down to San Diego two years ago and hired Cole for some day lessons. We really enjoyed his coaching style and my kids all had a blast while being kept safe in the water
