Throughout my 10+ year aquatic career I’ve worked for several companies to become a versatile and skilled swim instructor. With a rich background as a competitive swimmer and American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor training, I intimately know the technical progressions of all strokes (competitive and survival,) starting dives and turns. I am skilled at creating and implementing structured and engaging lesson plans by incorporating learning tools and games to create fun and effective learning sessions that appropriately suit all age groups, abilities, and goals. I find swimming instruction to be one of the most personally enriching activities I can do because I’m teaching lifesaving skills to all who I encounter.
"The lesson with Adriane was quite helpful. She really tailored the pace to my experience level and kept things engaging but still a bit challenging. Still, I think with a little more focus on technique, it could become even more effective. If you're considering trying her lessons, I’d say go ahead and give it a shot.

Aloha! My name is Chrissi Omalza. I’m originally from the island of Oahu and have been living in Washington since 2021. I’ve been playing softball for almost twenty years and played collegiate softball for the University of Nevada Las Vegas from 2014-2018. I was a utility player in college but primarily was a catcher and third baseman throughout my career. During my nineteen years of playing, I've fostered softball skills with personalized guidance. My career off the field is a High School Special Education Teacher so I strive to cultivate a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for athletes to thrive and achieve their goals. Combining my teaching skills and softball experience allows me to create diversified training plans to fit each athlete’s needs because everyone learns and understands differently. I’m excited to get to work and share my passion and love for the game with you all!
