Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson is an introduction. I’ll evaluate your skills in the area you’re most looking to improve in order to craft a training plan specific to you and what you’re trying to achieve
Lesson 2-3This is where we implement the first parts of your specific program. For example, If you need help with your hitting, we will work on tee drills, soft toss and a little bit of live batting practice.
Lesson 4-10Lessons 4-10 depend on how much progress we’ve made but ideally at this point, we are working on some more advanced and nuanced aspects of your skill set. For example, if we’re working on pitching, we might start focusing on location and command of your fast ball and introduce some off speed pitches
Lesson 11+This is where we start getting more advanced. For example, if we are working on outfield skills, we would start working on things like hitting your cutoff, changing direction while chasing a fly ball, and continue with basic skills as well
What you need to bringJust a glove, a bat if you have one, a helmet, and a desire to learn. Comfortable athletic clothing that is weather appropriate as well. I coach every season of the year depending on the weather. Water is especially important as well. Every athlete knows the importance of being properly hydrated.
