I hired benjamin to help my 6 year old son with baseball. My son connor has autism and a lot of fine motor issues. This is his second year of baseball and he had so much trouble holding a bat, swinging, standing correctly etc. connor has a had 2 lessons so far with benjamin and he is standing, swinging and holding the bat correctly- and this is after just 2 lessons! I cant wait to see how much connor is going to progress with him. Benjamin is also so kind, patient and fun with connor. He genuinely cares about people and helping them with baseball - connor lights up around benjamin. He has improved connors confidence and self esteem already. I would highly recommend benjamin to anyone wanting to improve their baseball skills or learn the game. He is amazing!

Mr. Lamken is very flexible about his times and places. He is really good with the basics and core techniques. Building you from the ground up or improving your already unique skill trait. He adjusts very rapidly to your strengths and weaknesses. And tries his absolute hardest to make sure that your strengths are to your max potential or to deemed fit to your liking. He is very observant when it comes to your form, giving you his best tips and philosophies on how to correct them or use them in a more efficient way for you. Lastly, His enthusiasm and love for Baseball is unmatched. Im overjoyed to have found Foundations Baseball Development!

We hired Coach Benjamin to help our 10 year old son with batting. After a couple sessions our son was approaching the plate with more confidence and consistency. Since then we have also branched out to pitching and infield work. Coach Benjamin is a well rounded coach who can teach all aspects of the game in an approachable, digestible, and most importantly fun way. We’re going to keep working with Coach Ben as our son prepares for another great baseball season!

My sons experience with Coach Benjiamin has been awesome! He absolutely loves Coach Benjiamin. and we really appreciate the way all of the he teaches the game as well as the mentality and approach to getting better on and off the field. Benjiamin is amazing for both Beginner and Advance level. He knows how to motivate, guide, and encourage. We highly recommend him if you are looking for perfect baseball coach, and we definitely will keep on learning from him.

Ben is a true baseball coach. He teaches not only mechanics from the ground up, but character! He has a great work ethic and instills that in his students. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson is an introduction. I’ll evaluate your skills in the area you’re most looking to improve in order to craft a training plan specific to you and what you’re trying to achieve
Lesson 11+This is where we start getting more advanced. For example, if we are working on outfield skills, we would start working on things like hitting your cutoff, changing direction while chasing a fly ball, and continue with basic skills as well
Lesson 4-10Lessons 4-10 depend on how much progress we’ve made but ideally at this point, we are working on some more advanced and nuanced aspects of your skill set. For example, if we’re working on pitching, we might start focusing on location and command of your fast ball and introduce some off speed pitches
Lesson 2-3This is where we implement the first parts of your specific program. For example, If you need help with your hitting, we will work on tee drills, soft toss and a little bit of live batting practice.
