I started playing tennis when I was 8 years old in Brazil. I got to #12 in the country U16 and #800 in the world U18. I later played at UAB (D1 college) where I was the captain of the tennis team. During the summers I would teach large groups from all ages and private lessons as well. I love to be able to teach someone the proper technique to maximize their potential and I care a lot about my students. I have experience in clay and hard courts and I would say my style of play is lots of spin, consistency, energy, and focus on the serve. I am Lucca Leal, a Brazilian college student athlete at the University of Mobile, who loves to play and teach tennis at any time. I would like to pass my knowledge and passion for the sport to my students so they can have a good time just like I do. I have been coaching tennis for almost 3 years to kids, teenagers, and adults at beginner and intermediate levels. In the summer of 2024, I worked at Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale, New York, where I had the opportunity to coach several people. On my college campus, I give weekly lessons to kids aged 9. In addition, I have also helped students and teammates with strategy-focused and hitting sessions. I am extremely dedicated, persistent, patient, and professional.
