I’ve been passionate about tennis for over 20 years, thanks to my father who introduced me to the game at a young age. I earned my coaching certification from The Professional Tennis Registry in 2021 and have since coached for Nike Tennis Camps, Smoke Rise Country Club, and offered private lessons. As a former Division II college player, I also volunteered at an afterschool program, where I had the chance to teach kids tennis alongside a local coach. This experience, along with four years of coaching at Reading & Requests, taught me the value of listening to students and using positive reinforcement to foster rapid improvement. As a junior, I achieved a 10 UTR and competed in numerous Southern and National tournaments, often playing in older age groups. In high school, I led my team to its first-ever state championship, going undefeated at the line 1 position. I finished my high school career as a 4-star recruit and attended the University of Georgia, where I focused on academics with plans to attend medical school while continuing to hone my tennis skills.
