Baseline Assessment & Intensity High-intensity technical evaluation and movement drills to establish a performance baseline and identify tactical gaps.

In the first lesson with an advanced player, I focus on evaluating their game in a live setting. I watch them hit all major strokes—serves, returns, rally balls, transition shots, and volleys—while assessing timing, decision-making, footwork, and shot patterns. I ask questions to understand their playing style, goals, and mindset. The goal isn’t to change anything right away, but to identify strengths, expose areas for growth, and build trust by showing that I see their game clearly and can help take it to the next level.

Sports attire and tennis/sports shoes. Racquets can be provided

Bring a goal or two. I will be able to determine areas for improvement relatively quickly. But as time is of the essence, it helps to hit the ground running right off the bat!

I adapt my lessons by creating more basic and easier to understand lessons, trying to work mainly on fundamentals and learning proper techniques.

When working with kids, I adapt my lessons by keeping them fun, simple, and active. I use clear, positive language, teach through games and challenges, and focus on one key idea at a time. The goal is to build coordination, basic technique, and a love for the sport—without overwhelming them. I adjust my expectations based on age and maturity, always making sure they leave the court feeling successful and excited to come back.
