My journey with tennis began in childhood, playing with my grandmother, which sparked my passion and led me to join high school and college teams. Since then, I've maintained a regular schedule of playing several times a week. I've also enjoyed teaching numerous beginners, adept at starting players from scratch and guiding them through their tennis journey.

Nathan is adept at trading ground strokes for any level. Taking some pace off if need be, or ramping it up for growth. Plus, he controls the volley well so you can grasp approaching the net. Greatly recommend if you want to get your tennis off the ground!

I really enjoy being able to hit from his ball machine! We could volley all day, but with this they come one after the next to the same spot and I can really focus on getting a rhythm and improving my form.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonAssessing ability to contact balls. May call for dropping balls by hand or utilizing ball machine to minimize footwork.
Lesson 11+Introducing philosophy of playing and honing your level of serve, to get you ready for that big match!
Lesson 4-10Increase reliability and pace of shots. An emphasis of footwork and conditioning.
Lesson 2-3Introduction to different strokes. Approaching the net for short volleys, taking it out of the air etc..
Advanced training plan
Youth players
Working with kidsGauging comfortably and agility with foam practice balls.
Working with teenagersImproving consistency and basic theory of placement/ shot selection.
What you need to bringBring a goal or two. I will be able to determine areas for improvement relatively quickly. But as time is of the essence, it helps to hit the ground running right off the bat!
What I can bringI have 10 rackets of varying size and weight, in case you don’t have one that is ideal for you.
Also, have plenty of fresh balls for extended drills, and time on the ball machine.
