Former tennis player and totally in love with Pickleball and want to promote pickleball to other players by giving lessons.

Iโm Aaron Gamble (AG) โ a coach, community builder, and lifelong athlete dedicated to helping people move better, play better, and live better. With over 15 years of experience in fitness, wellness, and athletic coaching, I bring a unique blend of personal training, holistic wellness, and high-level pickleball instruction. As the founder of AG Fitness and AG Pickleball, Iโve built one of the most vibrant and encouraging pickleball communities in the DMVโwhere beginners grow, competitors sharpen their edge, and everyone feels like they belong. My coaching goes beyond just technique. I focus on movement efficiency, injury prevention, strategy, and confidenceโso youโre not just improving your game, youโre improving your body and mindset. Whether youโre picking up a paddle for the first time or pushing toward advanced play, Iโll meet you where you are and help you elevate. My philosophy is simple: Stay Encouraged.
"After 20 lessons with Aaron, I can confidently say heโs one of the most effective coaches Iโve worked with. He goes far beyond fundamentalsโfocusing on high-level strategy, shot selection, patterns of play, and decision-making under pressure. His ability to break down advanced concepts while keeping sessions engaging and competitive is exceptional. Iโve seen significant improvement in my consistency, court IQ, and overall performance in match play. If youโre serious about elevating your game, Aaron is the coach to work with.

Our first lesson together will begin with a discussion of specific areas of your game that youโd like to improve or are struggling to develop. Some common areas students want to improve in are their third shot drops, transition zone shots, and dinks. Weโll play a couple of points to view the weak points in context and then weโll implement drills to improve the needed areas for development, as well as identify the root causes for the errors.

Please come in attire suitable for sports that youโre okay with sweating in! For example: tennis shoes, pickleball, basketball shoes or any athletic shoes designed to support lateral movement and with grip for court play! If it is cold, bundle up! Bring a light athletic winter hat, layers of light jackets, athletic pants and sports gloves that maintain your dexterity and motor skills while keeping you warm. If it is warm out, make sure you bring sunscreen, sunglasses and clothes that will keep you cool. If you have your own paddle, bring it! If you donโt I can give you a paddle to borrow from a variety of options and perhaps even give you the opportunity to purchase a paddle!
