"Great teacher! Very clear and concise. I learned a lot in just the first lesson. Really looking forward to the next one. Makes you feel relaxed and welcome.

I'm David Price, and my journey in racket sports started with racquetball and ping pong. Four years ago, I discovered pickleball and fell in love with its fast-paced, competitive nature. I play both recreationally and in tournaments, currently holding a 4.0 skill level as I work towards becoming a senior pro player. With over 4.8 million people now enjoying pickleball, I'm excited to share the strategies and knowledge I've gathered along the way. As a certified PPR instructor, I specialize in teaching everything from scoring and serving to dinking and volleying techniques, helping you build confidence and stamina on the court. I'm passionate about making learning enjoyable, and I look forward to helping you improve your skills so you can have as much fun playing pickleball as I do. Let's connect and grow together in this fantastic sport!

Athletic Shoes β’ Athletic Clothes β’ If they would like to play with their own paddles that is fine, but if they would prefer to play with mine (SLK ERA 16mm, Vatic Pro 16mm, Franklin C45 14mm, Joola Perseus 16mm, Practice Paddle) that is fine as well!

Well, if you have your favorite paddle, by all means, bring it - there's nothing like your favorite - otherwise, I'll provide one. Definitely bring plenty of hydration with you, especially during the hot months!! Comfortable clothing, as required by temperature. Additionally, with regards to clothing, great court shoes - with non marking soles - really make a difference in your play. Pickleball is regarded as a low impact sport , but it is an impact sport. You can get hurt. If you have any issues with mobility, -elbows, ankles, knees, etc- do make sure you bring the proper support so that you don't get hurt. Pickle balls do not hurt if they hit you. They sting a little and might make your skin red, but I've never seen anyone get bruised by a pickle ball. (I have seen people get bruised by a tennis ball, but never with a pickle ball). Nonetheless, the one thing that can do damage is if it hits you in the eye, especially if you wear contact lenses. Hence, it is important you wear comfortable eyeglasses, preferably impact resistant ones, available at any sporting goods store. Prescription eyeglasses, including sunglasses, are a great idea to avoid getting hurt in the eyes, too. Above all, bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude!
