As a high-performance coach, I've had the privilege of coaching my daughter and her teammate to become All-American collegiate tennis players. My daughter has since transitioned to professional pickleball, winning a silver medal on the PPA tour and competing against top players like Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns. I continue to support her career by advising and drilling with her regularly. Now, I am a 4.5 pickleball player, author and podcaster. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe discuss your goals and aspirations. Then I’ll look at your serves, returns, 3SD, ground strokes,volleys and put-aways. You will have one take-away nugget to make you a better and more dangerous players. You will have homework: exercises and to note key issues.
Lesson 2-3Based on the prior week’s Open Play, we will address two issues holding back your progress.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonI used to only train high performance athletes. I am “Top Gun” school: you are good and I will make you better. You have to work because I will push you beyond where you believe you can go.
Youth players
Working with kidsIt has to be fun and it will be.
