I’ve been golfing for over 30 years and as I grew older I’ve learned to maximize what I have. I’m 5’6” and though I consider myself an athlete, I do believe a good swing can be achieved by good fundamentals and what I call positioning. By ingraining certain aspects of a swing, we can continue to improve by doing. I’m just a low-handicap golfer who want to teach average golfers good fundamentals as a takeaway, so you can start to improve on your own. I’m not a teaching professional, but I was a design instructor at an art school for over 17 years, I hope I can make improving your golf game fun.

I have been playing golf for 20 years and have been teaching for 5 years. I Enjoy getting people to learn new skills, especially if it is a skill they are struggling with. My proudest golf achievement has been shooting a 71 at Poppy Hills. My favorite golf course is Torrey Pines. When I am not teaching or playing golf, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and playing the drums.

The Five Keys Method focuses on accelerating progress without requiring extensive practice time. Originally from Connecticut, Kevin has built a distinguished career in both competitive play and instruction. His passion for the game began in high school, where he won multiple tournaments. He went on to compete at the collegiate level, starting at Mitchell College, where he won the NJCAA Division 3 National Championship. He then transferred to UConn, serving as team captain in his senior year. After college, Kevin turned professional and competed on the Cleveland Golf Pro Tour in New England, further deepening his understanding of high-level competitive golf. Swing changes are hard so let’s work with what you have unless you are committed to making wholesale swing changes. Fundamentals are key: grip, alignment, posture and swing plane. "Worked on grip and stance with each club and got a good understanding WHY the stance was important (and different) for each club. I did not want 20 or 30 new things to try. I could not remember that many. I can easily focus on two tips for each club and make improvements based on those tips.
