Wow, I think Sean's lesson on my swing and stance really hit the mark. The feedback was quite helpful, and I feel more confident about becoming a better golfer, though I still have some areas to work on. Still, this lesson gave me a clearer idea of what to focus on next, so I’d definitely be interested in trying him again to continue refining my game.
Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst lesson would be going over the basics of the game. First the grip, how to hold the club, the stance. Where you’re feet should be positioned, and then we can begin to start on making solid contact with the ball.
Lesson 11+If you decide to continue with lessons we can learn all sorts of different ways to hit the ball. How to hit the ball straight, how to hit a draw, which for a right handed golfer starts to the right and ends on the left, and a fade, which is the opposite, starting on the left and ending on the right. Your short game should be pretty decent at this point as well and you should be comfortable playing 9 or 18 holes with anyone and having FUN!
Lesson 4-10These lessons will probably be the most frustrating and where your patience will be key. Expect to struggle but also know that you’ll start to see improvements as well. Your swing will start to feel more natural.
Lesson 2-3We can start at the range where we’d go over the basics again and start to learn little nuances of the golf swing. We would also head to the putting green to get an idea of what the short game of golf is.
