"The lesson with Abdou was good, especially the part about improving my ball control skills, which I found quite helpful. Though I think I could benefit from more drills focused on quick passes, the overall approach was steady and encouraging. Maybe next time, a bit more emphasis on tactical positioning would be beneficial, but I still feel positive about my progress so far. If you’re aiming to sharpen specific soccer techniques without overwhelming, Abdou seems like a solid choice.

"I had my first lesson with Patric and honestly, I’m blown away. From the very start, he created a comfortable, encouraging environment for a beginner . Will definitely continue to learn from him

Xavier McDaniel Jr., son of the Seattle SuperSonics legend, has transitioned from his basketball career to focus on skill and strength training. A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Xavier first gained recognition as a high school champion at Hammond School, playing alongside the renowned Seventh Woods. He continued to excel in college basketball, spending two years at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley under the esteemed coach Lew Hill, where he developed his skills for a professional career. Unfortunately, Xavier’s journey in professional basketball was impacted by a series of injuries, limiting him to two and a half full seasons across international leagues and the American TBL. Now, shifting his focus, he is completing his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Eastern Washington University, through Bellevue College. His mission is to combine his passion for sports and psychology to help individuals heal from trauma, focusing on the connection between mind, body, and spirit. As a coach, Xavier uses basketball as a tool not just for athletic development, but to guide others toward personal growth, whether that leads to a career in professional sports or simply a more balanced life off the court.
"Coach Xavier is wonderful with the kids. He’s patient, encouraging, and knows how to explain things in a way they understand. The kids feel comfortable and motivated around him, and we’ve seen their confidence grow. We really appreciate his positive energy and dedication.

In August of 2021, Leonard embarked on a quest to elevate his pickleball skills, actively seeking a place to learn and play. It was during this journey that he crossed paths with Damon, a gentleman who extended an invitation to a community center predominantly frequented by players aged 50 and above. Initially feeling out of place, Leonard was warmly embraced by the community and taught the game that now ignites his passion. Today, almost two years later, Leonard aspires to give back by sharing his knowledge, eager to teach newcomers and enable them to experience the joy of one of the world's fastest-growing sports.
"Practiced some of the basics including racquet placement, stance and serve/volly

Experienced pickleball player with deep a background in sports psychology. Great for beginners wanting to learn the game or intermediate players wanting to improve their game.
"Brad did an excellent job of teaching us about the etiquette involved in queuing to play and how to modify for playing with three. We were very happy with his “learn through play” approach and enjoyed our lesson.

In my mid-30s, I ventured into golfing and initially faced significant challenges with the game. For a while, I didn't take formal lessons and struggled to find my stride. However, once I committed to following instruction and advice, my enjoyment of the game began to grow exponentially. Now, I eagerly join my golf group for weekly rounds across the Puget Sound area, relishing every opportunity to play. Teaching others has become a passion of mine, and I eagerly share my knowledge whenever someone expresses interest in learning.
"Kevin was very helpful

I've been playing pickleball since I was 8 years old, and over the years, it's become more than just a sport—it's a passion. With over 3 years of coaching experience, I love helping players of all levels grow their game, whether you're a total beginner, or an experienced player looking to sharpen your strategy and technique. Over the years I’ve won multiple 4.5-5.0 level gold medals, and coached many students to high level tournament success. I am currently Head Pro at Urban Pickleball, an indoor club in downtown Seattle, and I offer private coaching on the side. Let’s hit the courts and take your pickleball skills to the next level!
"Wow, Daniel's lesson really helped me with precise adjustments for my kitchen play and serve , I appreciated the focus on technique but still feel I need to work on strategy, though. It’s encouraging, and I’d be open to trying another lesson to build on what I learned.

I’m playing tennis for 19 years. 8 years coaching experience. Sometimes still participate in tournaments by myself. I provide advanced tennis lessons, as well as explanation how to enjoy the game and stay healthy.
"The lesson with Katya was quite good. She was very patient with my son, who’s still new to tennis and had never held a racket before. She set clear goals that helped him feel at ease, and surprisingly, he started to follow her directions pretty well. Still, it was encouraging to see his comfort grow so quickly. If you're considering trying a lesson, Katya might be worth a shot.

I played NCAA D1 beach volleyball at UC Berkeley. Before that, I grew up playing both club indoor and beach volleyball, was a varsity player all four years of high school, and had the privilege to be a part of the USAV High Performance program during my junior years. Now I coach at Lakeside high school and middle school and I am a mental resilience coach at Podio Sports. I love to play still as much as I can so I play in adult leagues throughout the greater Seattle area.
