Passionate tennis player with a decade+ of experience. I've excelled at various levels, from high school varsity to college club teams (Ohio State University and Ohio University tennis club alumnus). Previously, I was a full-time tennis professional and Director of Tennis and Pickleball @ Wedgewood Golf and Country Club in Columbus, OH training players of all ages. I have also been the Assistant Tennis Coach of the Girl’s Varsity Team for Westerville South High School (Westerville, OH) for the past two years. During the past winter I was a part-time tennis professional @ Wickertree Tennis Club in Columbus, OH and coached the 3.5 Career Ladies’ USTA Team. Additionally, I have a strong background playing USTA Tournaments (15-2 all time in USTA doubles according to Tennis Record). I have a Bachelors degree in Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology, a Masters degree in Biomedical Science, 2 years of medical school, a Certification in the Practice of Data Analytics, and am currently studying for my next Master’s in Bioinformatics at Northeastern University. If you are someone who has a STEM background, I excel at communicating tennis techniques and concepts in terms that STEM professionals can relate to and understand because I have a comprehensive knowledge of the biophysics, muscles, and fine motor feelings that one needs to be aware of when executing mechanics. I have been swimming from the time I was an infant in "Mommy-n-Me" classes, to more recently as a swim coach at pools such as Goldfish Swim School and Camp Mary Orton, with experience teaching kids from ages 3 months- 15 years old. I'm a certified lifeguard with Red Cross, with CPR, AED, and First Aid skills, and a certified swim instructor with a WSI, so your kids will be in safe hands. My favorite skills to teach are advanced strokes such as butterfly and breaststroke, but I can teach all swim skills with just as much enthusiasm!
