Your first lessonIn the first lesson, I get to know the student’s goals, current English level, strengths, and areas that feel challenging. We may do a short reading, writing, grammar, or conversation activity so I can understand how they learn best. I keep the first lesson relaxed, encouraging, and structured, then create a simple plan based on what they need most.
Lesson 2-3In lessons 2 and 3, we begin building a strong foundation. Depending on the student’s goals, we may focus on grammar basics, reading comprehension, vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence structure, or paragraph writing. I use guided practice, examples, worksheets, and visual notes so students can build confidence step by step.
Lesson 4-10By lessons 4 through 10, students can expect more targeted practice and steady skill-building. We work on applying English skills through writing exercises, reading passages, conversation practice, essay planning, vocabulary development, and grammar review. I also help students notice patterns, fix common mistakes, and become more independent learners.
Lesson 11+After lesson 11, we continue strengthening the student’s skills based on their progress and goals. Lessons may include more advanced reading, writing, speaking, test prep, school assignments, essays, or real-life communication practice. The goal is for students to feel more confident, clear, and comfortable using English on their own.

What you need to bringFor online lessons, students will need a laptop, iPad, tablet, or computer with internet access so we can meet, share materials, and work together. For in-person lessons, students should bring a notebook, pen or pencil, and highlighters or colored markers if they like using visuals. A laptop or tablet is helpful for in-person lessons, but not required.
What I can bringI use my iPad and Apple Pencil during lessons to share my screen, write notes, explain concepts visually, and work through examples with students in real time. I also provide English-learning resources such as worksheets, workbook-style activities, writing prompts, grammar exercises, reading passages, and vocabulary practice based on each student’s goals.
