How do reviews work?

Reviews help your coach improve, and help other students choose a coach. You leave reviews in the Student App.
Rate Your Lesson
After a lesson, the app asks you to Rate your last lesson from 1 to 5 stars. Every rating counts toward your coach's public rating.
- 4 or 5 stars: you can give your coach up to 3 compliments, and you can add a tip. See How does tipping work?
- 1 to 3 stars: the app asks What went wrong? Choose all the reasons that apply. Your coach sees the reasons you choose.
Write a Review
The app asks you for a written review after your first lesson with a coach, and at some points in your pack. It stops asking once you write a review for that coach.
The written step has two fields. You can fill in one, both, or neither:
- Public review: shown on your coach's profile
- Private note: only your coach and TeachMe.To support can see it
Use the private note for feedback you want to give your coach, but not share with other students.
What Your Coach Sees
Your coach sees your stars, your public review, your private note, and any reasons you chose. Your coach gets the review about 5 minutes after you send it.
Coaches cannot reply to a review in public. When you give 4 or 5 stars, your coach can send you a thank-you. You then get a message that your coach said thanks.
