Bio: I’m a senior at Boston University and a captain of the Men’s Tennis team. I've been playing tennis since I was three and coaching since I was 15. As a five-star recruit in high school, I’ve always had a passion for both playing and teaching the game. My dad is a coach with over 90 players who have gone on to play at the Division 1 level. His experience has shaped my knowledge and approach to coaching. I focus on making tennis both fun and effective, helping players improve their game while enjoying the process!

Bio: I started playing tennis when I was 8 years old in Brazil. I got to #12 in the country U16 and #800 in the world U18. I later played at UAB (D1 college) where I was the captain of the tennis team. During the summers I would teach large groups from all ages and private lessons as well. I love to be able to teach someone the proper technique to maximize their potential and I care a lot about my students. I have experience in clay and hard courts and I would say my style of play is lots of spin, consistency, energy, and focus on the serve. Bio: I’m a former ATP professional tennis player with experience competing at the highest levels. I played Division I college tennis and have been teaching for the past four years. Certified as a teaching pro by the Italian Tennis Federation, I bring a deep understanding of the game to every lesson, helping players of all levels reach their potential.

Bio: Rachel Cross joined the Tufts women's tennis coaching staff in the spring of 2023 after starring for the Ephs of Williams College over the from 2018-2021. As a member of the Williams tennis team, she was nominated for the NESCAC Senior Sportswoman All-Conference Award, while also earning a spot on the NESCAC Spring All-Sportsmanship Team. Cross played No. 2 singles and doubles for the Ephs, and was part of a 2018 NESCAC title-winning squad and NCAA semifinalist team. Cross was a team captain her senior season at Williams, and was the only player to win the team-awarded Torrence M. Hunt Tennis Award, given to the player who made a significant contribution to the team. Cross was a singles All-American in 2018, and was nominated for the Universal Tennis Ranking Player to Watch honor which is given to a freshman at college with great potential. A Dean's List honoree for six semesters at Williams, Cross was a three-time ITA All-Academic and Scholar honoree, while earning ITA D3 Scholar-Athlete and NESCAC All-Academic laurels as well. Cross graduated from Williams with a degree in biology.

Bio: I’ve been coaching tennis for over 30 years and hold the highest certifications from both PTR and USPTA. I can be hired to teach as well as hit and play against you. I’ve worked at various clubs and camps as well as working as a head men’s tennis coach at a local college. Currently, I coach at a private club in Chestnut Hill, where I help players of all levels achieve their best on the court.

Bio: I’m Nico, I’m originally from Australia and now i’m a college player at Tufts University. I teach all ages and generally operate with a style that involves mostly hitting, with feeding and coaching involved as well.

Bio: I started playing tennis back in 1996. I used to belong to the Paxton Tennis & Fitness Club in Paxton, MA from 2000 to 2003. I used to play in the 2.0- or 2.5-men’s league. I played a few tournaments in Paxton and a few doubles matches in Massachusetts. From 2004 to 2009 I played in California. In 2009 I moved back to Worcester, Massachusetts. From 2010 until 2015 I played on the Lake Ave. Tennis Courts in Worcester, MA. In 2015 I rejoined again the Paxton Tennis & Fitness Club. From 2016 until 2019 I played in a 3.5 men's leagues in the Y-Greendale, MA. I also had a contract with the Paxton & Tennis fitness Club on Sunday mornings. In the winter I played in several men's leagues. A few unpleasant things occurred recently, the Y-Greendale and the Paxton & Tennis fitness Club no longer offers tennis; so, now I am forced to play tennis outside of Worcester, Massachusetts. In 2021 I played only one tennis tournament. In 2022 I did not play only any tournaments. In 2023 I played in a couple of tournaments. The first tournament was a level 4 open tournament in October 2023. I was stunned by the level of tennis those guys were playing. The second tournament I played in November I did better. In 2024 I signed up for another tournament, but I did not show up due to a work conflict. That hurt because I was so looking forward to playing in another tournament. In winter of 2024 I decided to take a year off from coaching and work on my game. I believe that coaching really harnesses the passion for playing. I was dying to play more tournaments. Coming back to play in 2025 was very tough at first. I felt like my reflexes of the playing ability were gone. I couldn’t see the ball; I felt very slow with my footwork. I still believe that I have a lot of work to do; however, I am really enjoying playing in tournaments.

Bio: I have over 15 years of playing experience and have been coaching for the last 8. Majority of my coaching experience has been as the head coach of high school tennis teams. With this, I primarily focus and excel in teaching the game from the ground up. Working with juniors/beginners and getting to see them grow in both skill and love for the game is the best part about coaching.
