Hi, my name is Aaron. Tennis has been a lifelong passion of mine. Growing up in Northern Virginia, I started playing when I was just four years old. By the time I was a teenager, I was ranked Top 5 in Virginia for my age group (15β18) and finished as a Top 20 junior in the Mid-Atlantic region, competing in national tournaments across the country. Along the way, I trained with some of the best coaches in the U.S., including a mentor who also worked with Frances Tiafoe during his junior development at College Park. In 2018, I moved to California to play collegiate tennis at California Lutheran University (CLU), where I competed for four years and served as team captain my senior year, reaching an 11 UTR. Off the court, I earned my Bachelorβs degree in Business and Sports Management, and I recently completed my MBA. Iβve been coaching part- and full-time since 2021, working with players of all ages and skill levels. My goal as a coach is to make the game enjoyable, while helping players build strong fundamentals, improve strategy, and develop confidence on the court. Whether youβre a beginner picking up a racquet for the first time or an experienced player aiming to sharpen your edge, Iβm excited to help you take your game to the next level!
"The lesson with Aaron was quite good, mainly because heβs very patient and attentive. Still, I think there's room to push my technique a bit further, but honestly, his steady approach made the whole experience quite helpful. If you're after a teacher who genuinely listens and keeps things calm, Aaron might be a solid choice.

Players 3.0 to 4.0. We will adapt you to warm-up drills similar to what you would see in all colleges. This will allow us to see how comfortable you are on court. And based on what I see in your on-court abilities will determine how fast we move you into tiebreaks and/or sets. We'll discuss what things you would like to improve on and work those into what I call micro drills.

In the first lesson, I evaluate the player's technique, footwork, and overall consistency through rally-based drills. I also ask about their goals and experience to tailor the training plan.
