With two decades on the field as a player, a referee, and a coach, I cultivate confidence, self-awareness, and joy through soccer in players of all levels. This is a time to change things up and find out where your strengths shine and where they hold you back from challenging yourself. Progress over perfection, embracing failure to reach understanding, and introspection without judgement. This is a team sport and there are no weak links; only players that want to succeed, players that want to grow, and players that are content with their skill staying where it is.
With two decades of experience igniting a passion for soccer, I guide players to elevate their game through tailored training. I focus on skill refinement, strategic thinking, and fostering a lifelong love for the sport. Let's unlock your full potential!

Who I work with: Youth players building strong fundamentals, high school players preparing for college soccer, and adults who want to sharpen their game. Lessons are available in English or Spanish. Specialties: • Technical foundations: first touch, passing, dribbling, and finishing • Tactical understanding: positioning, decision-making, and reading the game • College recruiting guidance from someone who has recruited players • Video and data-informed feedback so you can see your progress Your first lesson: We'll start with a short conversation about your goals and experience. Then I'll assess your technique and decision-making through drills and small-sided play. You'll leave with two or three clear focus areas and drills you can practice on your own before our next session. My approach is simple: high standards, clear feedback, and sessions that are challenging and fun.
I help each individual player become the best at controlling the ball, enhancing their 1v1 abilities and finishing chances— which will reward them in being the best they can at the game. With over 14 years of club soccer experience, 5 of those being in the Olympic Development Program, my goal is to build up each player by helping them think, learn, and lead individually; hone in their athleticism, and to encourage a fearless attitude to face adversity.
"We wanted to focus on my daughter’s shooting, dribbling and ball control and Coach Ben has been stellar. Ben has shown a good range of drills and techniques, while having the patience to explain, demonstrate, and give coaching points.
Hello, My name is Paul but I prefer PJ. I may not be a professional college soccer player or someone that is well known in the soccer community. But above all of that I have a burning passion about understanding how the ball works in soccer. How it feels at the touch and what to do next.
