Are you ready to learn how to play pickleball? Take your pickleball game to the next level? Host an epic pickleball group lesson or team-building event? Look no further, as I am here to guide you through an exhilarating journey on the court. With an impressive 5.3 DUPR ranking and winning record of 15 tournament victories under my belt in events up to the 5.0 level, I am thrilled to offer you the opportunity to join my highly sought-after pickleball private lessons! Pickleball, the fastest-growing sport in the country, has captivated players of all ages and skill levels. As a certified instructor and tournament player, I have experienced the thrill of competition firsthand and developed a profound understanding of the game's intricacies. With my proven expertise and strategic insight, I am eager to help you unlock your full potential and elevate your pickleball skills to new heights! Oh and about the nickname "Danimal," it's a funny story really. About 4 weeks after I first started playing pickleball, I entered a tournament and had to register with the USAPA (USA Pickleball Association). On the registration form, they ask you for a nickname, which I entered "Danimal" thinking no one would ever see it. Sure enough, during my first tournament, when being called over the loudspeakers for my matches, the announcer yelled Danimal rather than my first or last name. I was embarrassed and couldn't believe it. However, while walking to the courts, everyone high-fived me and told me they loved the nickname. That weekend, I won a gold medal in Men's Singles, Mixed Doubles, and Men's Doubles completing a Triple Crown in my first tournament! 🥇🥇🥇 Lo and behold, the nickname has stuck and is now forever

With a lifelong passion for racquet and paddle sports, I've dedicated six years to playing, competing, and teaching pickleball. My journey in racquet sports began with junior and collegiate tennis, and later, I transitioned to racquetball, achieving remarkable success with 14 national titles in singles and doubles, a world doubles title as part of Team USA, and a world ranking of #3 on the pro tour. Pickleball has been a natural extension of my racquet sports expertise, and in every tournament I've entered, I've emerged victorious or landed in the top three. My love for these games drives me to teach and share my knowledge, making me a dedicated and accomplished pickleball player and instructor. If you’re ready to learn pickleball or take your beginner-intermediate (1.0-4.0) skills to the next level, you have a choice: (1) Work with someone who simply “picked up” the sport and may not know how to teach it effectively, or (2) Train with a former UT racket sports instructor and multi-medalist in USSP tournaments across Texas and Oklahoma. With professional instruction, you’ll not only master the fundamentals of this fun, social, and wildly popular sport—you’ll also stay safe by learning proper warm-ups and stretches to help prevent injuries. Plus, take on the ball machine, overcome your kitchen fears, choose the best clothing and equipment, dealing with your emotions in competition, and much more!
