As someone deeply immersed in pickleball and coaching, I thrive on sharing my love for the sport with others. With a focus on technique and strategy and fostering a passion for the game, I find fulfillment in helping individuals improve their skills and achieve their goals on the court. My journey began with tennis in my early teens, playing through high school before retiring. I discovered pickleball later and instantly fell in love with it. Since then, my passion for the game has grown tremendously, driving me to improve and compete at the highest levels. I also have a passion for coaching, mentoring, and teaching. Outside of pickleball, I work as a career coach for those interested in cybersecurity. Coaching is in my blood, and I hope you’ll see that passion when you work with me.

Tuan has helped me immensely improve my pickleball game. His attention to detail and knowledge of the game translate extraordinary well to coaching. I've spent multiple sessions with Tuan, drilling and learning backhand rolls, forehand rolls, and speedups and court positioning to name a few. By the end of every session, I felt a ton more confident in my ability to execute those in a real match. Whether you're looking to learn the game for the first time or trying to get to the next level of competitiveness, Tuan is your guy. Coach Tuan is very knowledgeable in explaining the body mechanics while drilling. I wanted to focus on backhand dinks and he explained that I was not fully finishing my backhand stroke, causing inconsistencies in my shots. He walked me through step by step and now I'm fully aware of my approach when at the kitchen and even returning the ball at the baseline. Coach Tuan is also very motivating when it comes to drilling. One hour with him goes by so quickly.

Tuan helped me get a better feel for dinking. He taught me how to properly grip the paddle for dinking and implemented some drills that I can do to improve. He informed me on where I should be aiming while at the kitchen line. The lesson and drills we did helped improve my understanding of what to do.

Beginner training plan
Your first lesson1. Pickleball terminology, rules, and etiquette
2. Quick assessment of natural ability to hit the ball without instructions
3. Go over different grips (continental, semi-west, east)
4. Baseline - Serves
5. How to keep score for doubles play.
Lesson 11+By now, you should have a good understanding and basic strategy of pickleball, moving you from a beginner to a lower intermediate. (3.0-3.5). We will continue to work on specific shots, dinks, drops, resets, volleys so you can have confidence and consistency
Lesson 4-10Baseline - drops. Straight, middle, cross
Transition zone (TZ) - resets. Off the bounce. Out of the air.
NVZ - volleys. FH / BH
Overheads. Work on pronation of wrist. Placements
NVZ- Hand speed.
NVZ - speed ups / resets / counters
Work on 3rd shot option ( drop / drive) and decision making.
Work on moving from TZ to NVZ consistently and with confidence
