With a lifelong background in racket sports, including tennis, table tennis, and a passion for pickleball, I combine my experience as a competitive 5.0-level pickleball medalist and three Division 1 championships, and reaching the Southern California Semi-finals of CIF in tennis. A teaching professional at Braemar Country Club and Mika's Tennis Academy, a former Special Education instructor, registered behavior therapist, adaptive skills clinician, mobility trainer, and physical therapist aide, and I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, and Biomechanics. Joe is a Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) Certified Coach & Instructor (Member #127002), the official education and certification partner of USA Pickleball. With over four years of pickleball experience, Joe competes at the 4.0-4.5 level and has medaled in several tournaments throughout Southern California. A lifelong athlete, he has a background in competitive table tennis, golf, marathon running, triathlons, and is an Ironman finisher. Joe is also the Head Teaching Pro and Pickleball Director at iPickle Arcadia, where he hosts the weekly “Pickleball Social” every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night from 7:00-10:00pm, fostering a fun and engaging environment for players of all levels.
