From preparing me for the lesson by text, to his greetin in person, to explaining his teaching philosophy, to answering my questions, to explaining the game and the different shots, to giving me ways to integrate new knowledge, to finishing up and giving me homework, I was super pleased. He listened and took into account my experience with tennis and table tennis. The time flew by and I just felt at ease, but I learned a lot. I was just in the moment enjoying myself. Oh and he costs half as much as many other instructors. They don't keep it all, but I don't feel it is necessary to pay $150 a lesson. I played tennis and took lessons - it was 20 years ago but you remember your impression of people. I'm sure there are other good personable teachers but he is first rate and happens to be close to me. His apartment complex has a private court, so it was reserved. He enjoys teaching and, for me, it was a great fit. Oh and he can come to you, and there was no pressure to schedule the next lesson in 6 days or whatever. I will schedule another as soon as I come back into town because I'm looking forward to it. And he told me good places to play that fit my needs. He covers all the bases. His English was perfect but I have to remember how to spell him name. But that's on me. 5 stars

I had my first pickleball lesson with Kibom Kim and it was a great experience. As a beginner, I wasn’t sure about the proper techniques, but he made everything easy to understand. He taught me how to grip the paddle correctly, proper stance and foot positioning, and worked with me on dinking, volleys, and drives. What stood out most was how patient and attentive he was throughout the lesson. He watched my form closely, pointed out small things I could adjust, and explained why those changes mattered. I could actually feel myself getting more comfortable and consistent as we practiced. The lesson was well organized, hands-on, and tailored to my skill level. If you’re new to pickleball or want to improve your fundamentals, I highly recommend Kibom Kim. He’s a knowledgeable coach who genuinely wants his students to get better. Looking forward to more lessons!

I recently took a Pickleball lesson with Ki Bom and I was absolutely blown away. My wife and I have been playing Pickleball leisurely for a year now. My wife never thought she would able to learn how to do a proper serve, but in just one lesson, Ki Bom helped her to start doing a volley serve as she always relied on bouncing the ball first. He explained the fundamentals so clearly and made it easy to understand. His ability to observe, make corrections, and guide me through adjustments was truly impressive. We left the lesson feeling excited and eager to apply everything we learned. We are looking forward to our next lessons! He is very good at what he does. Highly recommend him for anyone looking to improve their game!

The lesson with Kibom was quite good, mainly because I appreciated the specific focus on my serve and return placements, which I hadn't really paid enough attention to before. Though I still have some technical details to work on, I feel more aware of my shot selection now. Honestly, I’m looking forward to practicing those aspects more. It’s reassuring to get targeted feedback that helps identify weaknesses in my game. Still, I think a few more lessons could really fine-tune things. If you’re after a lesson that’s detailed and helpful, I’d say it’s worth giving Kibom a try.

KiBom is a great instructor: knowledgable , thorough, clear & FRIENDLY!! On my first lesson today, he fine-tuned my serve; he helped me w/dinking, (which I'm horrible at!) ; and tried to help me overcome my fear of the hands battle. (Well, that's a "me" issue & that's going to take a loong time,🤣🤣) But he gave great tips!! I've been playing on-and-off for a year, but I always felt that I could be better. I'm not trying to go to the Olympics, but I want to be able to play w/intention & learn strategy. Oh! And he gave me homework when I left... I ❤️❤️❤️ it!!!!

The lesson with Kibom was quite engaging, especially since we focused on my serve and return placements which I hadn't been paying enough attention to before. Though I still have some technical details to improve, I feel more aware of my shot selection. Honestly, I look forward to practicing those aspects further. It's reassuring to find a lesson that helps me spot specific weaknesses in my game. Maybe future lessons will round out my skills even more, but for now, I think trying Kibom is a sensible step for anyone wanting targeted feedback.
