With a lifelong background in racket sports, including tennis, table tennis, and a newfound passion for pickleball, I combine my experience as a competitive 4.5-level pickleball gold medalist and former varsity tennis player, helping lead my team to three Division 1 championships and the Southern California Semi-finals. Eric was my trainer when I first wanted to try playing pickleball. I had no knowledge about the gameplay and I had very little experience in sports since I wasn’t active about being involved in fitness. Eric was there to coach me in the beginning, helping me with my hand coordination and providing feedbacks about my movements. It helped that he didn’t overwhelm me with information and focused on my weaknesses like my returns + making contact with the ball before I could progress to the next step. It made me feel less self-conscious as he was always patient and taught at the level of my abilities. Would recommend him!

One of the kindest coaches I have had the chance to play with. With my own tennis background, it was a bit easier for me to get into pickleball. But tennis isn't pickleball, and Coach Eric has given me pointers to try to improve my play, including split steps and how I wasn't close enough to the Kitchen / Non-Volley Zone. Coach Eric is a wonderful choice, no matter what your experience is. He'll adapt his coaching and playing to improve your techniques even if you don't have any prior racquet experience.
