As a pickleball coach, I suggest my students bring the following items to their pickleball lessons: 1. Pickleball Paddle: Your own paddle, suited to your grip and playing style. 2. Comfortable Athletic Clothing: Wear clothes that allow easy movement and are appropriate for the weather. 3. Court Shoes: Non-marking, supportive shoes designed for court sports to ensure good traction and foot support. 4. Water Bottle: Stay hydrated throughout the lesson, especially on hot days. 5. Sun Protection: If playing outdoors, bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect against sun exposure. 6. Towel: Useful for wiping sweat and keeping your hands dry. 7. Personal First Aid Kit: Including items like plasters, sports tape, and any personal medication. 8. Personal Pickleballs: While not essential, having your own balls can be helpful for extra practice. 9. Notebook and Pen: For taking notes on techniques, strategies, or feedback from the coach. 10.
