Coach BJ Nard is a former Division I athlete and elite performance coach specializing in speed, explosiveness, and position-specific development. He has worked with NFL, NBA, Olympic, overseas, and youth to collegiate athletes, preparing them for combines, pro days, and competition. His system develops athletes who react faster, move efficiently, and perform when it matters most.

Played JUCO football as an underdog, earning 15 Division I offers through hard work, discipline, and performance. Was part of 2 national championship teams at Ferris State, gaining experience in winning culture, accountability, and high-level competition. Also trained in elite environments connected to NDSU. My coaching style focuses on structure, fundamentals, and confidence-building. I work best with developing athletes who need guidance, discipline, and motivation.

I have experience playing both wide receiver and defensive back in football. As a wide receiver, I learned how to run routes, catch passes, and make big plays. As a defensive back, I learned how to cover receivers, make tackles, and stop the offense. I teach kids that hard work, practice, and teamwork are the keys to becoming a great football player.

I’m a newly retired professional athlete who probably played for your favorite organization. My purpose is to be the coach for the kids I wish I had growing up. I’m passionate about my craft & I don’t think anybody is better at connecting with them. I am a professional listener with great Life, Athletic & Wellness experience.
