Former Chrysler National Long Drive Champion, 1992, 1993. 2 handicap. Focused on creating a sustainable and custom swing for each of my students.
"The lesson with Dan was quite helpful, especially around my putting setup and stroke consistency, which I hadn't focused on much before. Still, I think a bit more emphasis on course strategy could make future lessons even more valuable, but overall, it's encouraging to see steady improvement and I might try another lesson down the road.

I am a former Division I tennis athlete with extensive competitive and coaching experience at the junior, high school, and adult levels. I started all four years at Saint Francis University, competing in both singles and doubles. As a junior player, I was a 3-star recruit on TennisRecruiting.net, ranked as high as No. 246 nationally upon graduating in 2020, and reached a peak UTR of 8.5. Before college, I was a three-time West Virginia state champion at the No. 1 singles and doubles positions, finishing my high school career with an undefeated 69–0 record. My senior season was unfortunately cut short due to COVID, but my competitive foundation was built through years of elite tournament play across the Midwest and on a national level. I am originally from Ohio and trained and competed throughout the region. In addition to my playing background, I bring hands-on coaching experience to every lesson. I have previously taught in Huntington, West Virginia, working with players ranging from ages 3 to 55+, including beginners, recreational adults, and competitive middle school and high school athletes. My coaching style focuses on strong fundamentals, confidence, and helping each player reach their individual goals… whether that’s learning the game, improving technique, or competing at a higher level.
"Marie was an excellent hitting partner and practice competitor during the time we worked together. As an advanced player, I appreciated the high level of intensity and consistency she brought to every session. We hit regularly and played practice sets, and Marie always pushed the pace, challenged my shot selection, and helped create match-like situations that translated directly into competition. Wishing her the best of luck always in her new journey in Pittsburgh!
