Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe way I teach has evolved into how we learn to get points in Pickleball. We will learn to serve, return, serve, and basic strategy to be successful in Pickleball.
Lesson 11+Lessons this late will be basically strategy and advanced mechanics, adding spin, keeping the ball low over the net, attacking shoelaces, learning to lobby, successfully, etc.…
Lesson 4-10My goal is to teach basic mechanics that can be used anywhere on the court with a little bit of tweaking based on how far you are from the net and your desired landing spot on your opponent side. We will expand further into shots at the non-volley zone as well as strategies on how to win a point.
Lesson 2-3Will be a continuation of lesson one. Serves in return serves come easy to some, more difficult to others. Based on how well you have completed your tasks in less than one will determine what steps we take next. Remediation on serves and return serves is crucial to this game.
What you need to bringYou need to bring yourself, a positive attitude, and any drink or nourishment you need during the lesson. Don’t buy a paddle for the lesson, I have plenty and will steer you into buying a good paddle at a low cost.
What I can bringI will bring everything in the way of equipment and knowledge to start you on a successful path to learn to play pickle ball!
