Before Sacred Heart, I played a couple of years at Division III Allegheny College where I was a two-time all-conference singles selection, became captain as a junior and was a representative of the team on the student athletic advisory committee. At Sacred Heart, I was named captain my senior season and received the student-athlete award for the highest GPA on the team after my first semester. In addition to my playing experience, I have many years of coaching experience. I am a current RSPA Elite Professional, and have organized and run my own private lessons and programs. I have also coached at various country and athletic clubs in Northern NJ and New York, along with having been an assistant men’s coach at Army West Point. Hello my name is Anthony and I am a PPR Certified Pickleball Coach! I got into pickleball two years ago and took to it fast, thanks to my tennis playing and coaching background. I have won medals locally and nationally. I recently won a Silver Medal in Men’s Singles at the Minto US Open Championships and a Bronze Medal at the APP New York City Open. I have also won a Bronze Medal in 4.0 Men’s Singles at a the Pickle Juice Spring Open. And won a Bronze Medal in 4.0 Men’s Doubles at the Monmouth County Cup. I have competed in Nationals at the 4.5 level as well as the Geico APP Championships in the 5.0 division. I have been playing pickleball for the last three- and one-half years. During this time, I have come to embrace the fun and exciting world that pickleball offers. I passed the PPR level 1 coaching course in February 2023 and passed the PPR level 2 coaching course in December 2024.
