Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI start by understanding the player’s goals, experience, and confidence level. Then we focus on basketball fundamentals — footwork, dribbling, and shooting mechanics. I also assess how they move and react so I can tailor the program to their needs. My goal is to make the session fun, positive, and empowering
Lesson 11+At this stage, we focus on advanced skill development, game IQ, and situational play. That includes shooting off the dribble, reading defenders, creating space, and improving reaction speed. We’ll simulate real-game scenarios and challenge decision-making under pressure. My goal is to build complete, confident players who are ready to compete
Lesson 4-10We progress into more game-like drills: pick-and-roll basics, shooting off the catch, finishing under pressure, and simple decision-making exercises. Each session builds on the last — adding pace, repetition, and challenge — while reinforcing confidence and fundamentals. I also introduce conditioning and light agility work
Lesson 2-3We dive deeper into ball-handling, layups, and basic shooting form. I introduce beginner-friendly drills like cone dribbling, form shooting, and defensive slides. I also teach spacing, body positioning, and how to stay balanced. These sessions build confidence and rhythm

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonI assess the player’s current skill set, decision-making, and conditioning through dynamic drills like 1-on-1 breakdowns, transition scoring, and situational reads. I also run a baseline skill evaluation including shot mechanics, footwork under pressure, and defensive stance. From there, I tailor a progressive plan based on their goals and playing style
Lesson 11+At this stage, we refine elite habits and prepare for real-game impact. Sessions include advanced situational breakdowns (late clock, help-side reads, defensive rotations), leadership development, and mental toughness work. We’ll emphasize game-film application, pace control, and mastering your role in any system. These lessons are for players serious about competing at a high level — college, pro, or beyond
Lesson 4-10We transition into elite-level situational training — including pick-and-roll reads, weak-side awareness, closeout decision-making, and advanced finishing variations. We’ll simulate game pressure, run live reps with limited dribbles or time, and push basketball IQ through constraint-based drills. Focus is on mastery and execution at game speed
Lesson 2-3We focus on advanced ball-handling under pressure, change-of-pace attacks, and finishing through contact. I incorporate drills like snake dribbles into midrange pull-ups, off-ball relocation shooting, and live reads off screens. These sessions emphasize efficiency, footwork, and control

Youth players
Working with kidsI focus on creating a fun, positive, and safe learning environment. We use simple language, short drills, and lots of encouragement. My sessions include basic skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting — all taught through games and activities to keep them engaged while building fundamentals

Working with teenagersI tailor lessons to build strong fundamentals, confidence, and game IQ. We focus on improving decision-making, skill execution under pressure, and mental toughness. I also create a space where teens feel heard, supported, and motivated to push their limits on and off the court

What you need to bringStudents should bring athletic shoes, comfortable sportswear, a water bottle, and any personal gear they prefer using (e.g. their own basketball).

What I can bringI can bring basketballs, cones, agility ladder, resistance bands, and other training tools for skill development.

As someone who’s played competitively for years, I was looking for a coach who could fine-tune my weaknesses rather than teach the basics—and Coach Amr delivered. His attention to detail is next level. He quickly spotted inefficiencies in my shooting form and helped me tighten up my defensive reads. Every session felt productive, focused, and tailored to my goals. Highly recommended if you’re serious about high-level development

Coach Amr was exactly what I needed to level up my game. He really knows how to break things down in a way that makes sense, and he pushed me just enough without making it overwhelming. I saw a difference in my footwork and confidence within just a few sessions. Definitely recommend if you’re serious about improving!
