I'm an APA 7 with over a decade of competitive 8-ball and 9-ball experience. However, I'm not your typical pool shark. As a licensed high school science teacher with 11 years in the classroom, I bring a unique approach to teaching the game. I know how to break down complex concepts and tailor lessons to each student's needs. Forget rigid, one-size-fits-all instruction – I'll help you develop your skills and strategy in a way that makes sense to YOU. Ready to take your game to the next level? Let's get started!
"Nice to try Aaron’s lesson. He clearly loves the game and his detailed teaching shows, plus the bite-sized highlights kept me hooked, though I’d love a bit of 9‑inch table context next time.

I fell in love with tennis at age 10 or 11. It quickly became the thing I cared most about for the better part of my life. It is a sport for a lifetime, and it will always be my first love. I started teaching tennis in 2011 after earning my teaching certification with the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR). It’s always fun to introduce a new player to this game or to work with a player who is passionate about tennis and wants to learn more. I look forward to meeting new students and sharing my passion for tennis with them.
"What really stood out during the lesson was Cate’s patience and excellent teaching style with my son. The session was well-paced and clear, making it easy for him to follow along. I’d recommend Cate’s lessons to anyone looking to improve their tennis skills in a supportive environment. Looking forward to more great sessions ahead! 🎾
