During those 23 years, I have gained experience throughout the golf industry including playing mini tours and competing in the PGA Tour Q-School. Beyond my playing experience, I also have years of teaching experience at great facilities such as the PGA Tour Academy at the World Golf Hall of Fame, and currently teach out of The Yards at TPC Sawgrass. In conjunction with teaching, I have dedicated many years to learning club fitting and building while working for several major club companies as an on-course demo technician. My background as a top-level golf instructor, includes having had the honor to work with multiple PGA Tour players including US Open Champion and Players Champion Webb Simpson, 4x PGA Tour Winner Russell Henley and 2022 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year Cam Young. While I enjoy working 1 on 1 with the world's best, I get just as much joy working with amateur players of all abilities and ages. Gerry is a PGA pro with over 20 years of teaching experience. As a competitor, he has competed in PGA Senior U.S. Open and won several long drive championships. He has coached numerous World Long Drive Champions including Womens World Long Champion Stacey Shinnick, World Long Drive Junior Champion Owen Hanson, as well as World Long Drive Open Champions Tim Burke and current raining World Long Drive Champion and Number One Ranked Long Drive Professional in the World, Justin James. This is not to say that the short game is not important. You must be very good from 110 yards and in, no question about it. Gerry is an expert in coaching this element of the game. Excellent chipping, pitching and putting will lower your score quicker than anything. However, hitting the ball longer and straighter will not only improve your scoring considerably, but it will dramatically increase your overall enjoyment of the game. Gerry’s professional sports career began with a stint as a player with the Oklahoma Outlaws of the United States Football League. Following his professional football career Gerry embarked on a second professional sports career in weight-lifting / body-building, while working out with the likes of Arnold Schwartzeneger, Frank Zane and others. In 1990 Gerry’s achievements in this field were honored when he was named as both the heavyweight as well as overall California Body Building Champion.

Carl Solik is a passionate tennis coach and North Carolina native who has been a resident of Jacksonville Beach since 2017. He has an impressive background in tennis, having been a member and captain of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Men’s Tennis Team from 2012 - 2017. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in leading the Charlotte 49ers to a top 75 ranking, marking the team's first top-ranking in over a decade. After completing his undergraduate studies, Carl began his coaching career at Flagler College in Saint Augustine. He then joined Tribe Tennis in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, as Co-Director in 2019, where he thrived as a coach and mentor to junior players. In 2021, Carl founded Solik Performance Tennis, his own private coaching program, catering to high-level junior players in the Jacksonville area.
