Mike is a PPR certified Pickleball instructor focused on helping folks in the Folsom and Sacramento areas how to get into the game he loves. Mike has been teaching over a year now and has been playing for several more. He is a frequent tournament competitor as well.
"Mike's lesson really helped me understand how to hold my racquet better in certain situations and to attack the ball properly. Though I think I could still improve on my serve techniques, I feel more confident now, and the lessons really stuck with me. Still, I’m hopeful that with more practice, my serve will get sharper. Definitely worth trying if you want a measured, practical approach to pickleball.

I’m coach Roddi, I have over 20 years of Basketball experience and 4 years of coaching experience (elementary-middle school). I have always been told that I’m a great teacher because of how intentional I am with my students. As a 29yo guard myself, I teach a mix of old and new school (Kobe era basketball). When we’re on the court, fundamentals are the most important to the session. If you lack fundamentals, you lack foundation, with no foundation your opponent will expose your weaknesses.
"Clear direction supportive coaching provided a bandaid after an injury on the court

I have been playing basketball for 30 years. I don't have the traditional journey of a basketball player. I wasn't given the chance. However, that never stopped me from sharpening my skills over the years by playing with and against better competition. Everything I learned was self-taught through repetition and observation. If you want to be a well-rounded basketball player, look no further than right here!
