I was a professional player in Mexico, and I played for Atlante, Chivas, Pumas, and Necaxa. I played important tournaments like Copa Chivas, Torneo de Barrios, Torneo de Talentos, and Copa Mexico-Telmex. I'm a soccer coach in club and school programs. I work with kids and teenagers because I love the passion and enthusiasm that they show when they play the game.

Started playing soccer competitive at 10 years old for Grove United FC in Illinois. Played with the club for approximately 6 years right before I went to high school in 2010. I switched clubs to play for Jean-Pierre Tokoto, who played for Cameroon at the World Cup in the 80’s, at FC Tokoto until 2014. In high school at Adlai E. Stevenson, I captained the sophomore boys soccer team to an undefeated seasons and went to play for varsity at the beginning of my junior to senior year. I played collegiate soccer at Elmhurst University for 4 years and travelled with the soccer team to France and Spain to play second tier academy teams. Through rigorous training from ID camps, travel soccer, training with semi-pros, and physical fitness, I increased my knowledge and fundamental skills to help the teams I played for reach for many finals, championships, and bragging rights over rivals. “Futbol/soccer is the beautiful game”- Pèle.

Hello. I am a current High School head coach for the last 8 years and a personal trainer for over a decade. I’ve also coached several club soccer teams. I work with Blazepods to get the most out of our training sessions. They are fun to use and get my athletes engaged. I have all necessary equipment and balls for all age groups. Transforming raw talent into confident players is my passion. With 40 years of experience, I've honed my coaching to not only build skills, but also foster a deep love for the beautiful game. "Our two boys were looking to raise their skill level and Coach Roger helped with that by making our sessions fun and challenging. Their training time was maximized with tons of touches on the ball. They were given homework and did it all which gave them goals to work toward during the summer. Our oldest son even made a club soccer team for the first time after training with Coach Roger.
