Mark brings extensive experience in pickleball, both recreationally and competitively, as well as a passion for coaching. His love for the sport extends to the competitive challenges it offers and the physical exercise it provides. With a background in basketball, Mark quickly recognized how the skills from basketball—such as hand and foot speed and communication—transfer well into pickleball. His coaching focuses on maintaining an athletic posture, staying on your toes, and embracing a positive, can-do attitude. Currently residing in Mesa, Mark’s enthusiastic, service-oriented approach to coaching makes him a great addition to the TPG team, where he is eager to work with players of all levels and ensure a fun and productive training experience.

Jim or as we call him “Coz” has lived in Arizona for over 40 years. He began his Professional golf career in 1983 and has been teaching for 40+ years. Jim believes his teaching philosophy of learning to swing the club versus attacking the ball will change your game forever. He has perfected the ability to communicate and teach this philosophy with analogies that make sense for the average golfer to better understand the term “less is more”. Under his guidance, I honed my skills in the art of three finger blues and classic country, developing a deep passion for these timeless genres. Today, I continue to carry forward this rich musical tradition, blending my youthful beginnings with a seasoned expertise in banjo and a love for authentic Americana sound.
