I have been swimming from the time I was an infant in "Mommy-n-Me" classes, to more recently as a swim coach at pools such as Goldfish Swim School and Camp Mary Orton, with experience teaching kids from ages 3 months- 15 years old. I'm a certified lifeguard with Red Cross, with CPR, AED, and First Aid skills, and a certified swim instructor with a WSI, so your kids will be in safe hands. My favorite skills to teach are advanced strokes such as butterfly and breaststroke, but I can teach all swim skills with just as much enthusiasm!

"So much swimming skill progression in the first lesson. Thank you coach Lourie for teaching my son. Looking forward to continuing learning with you.

"Had a great lesson today with Rich. I needed a tune up , especially with my irons. Worked on wedges as well. Feeling good about my progress.

At the age of 9, I discovered basketball and became obsessed with it. “Basketball is life” was my motto growing up—from finishing team practices at the gym, then going straight to a local basketball court for pickup games. I considered basketball courts my second home, and in many ways, they still are. My playing journey took me through several years in AAU and Showcase leagues, starting with the Bay Area Asian Sports Dragons as a youth and onto other travel teams. I competed in basketball tournaments held in Reno and all over California year-round. As a four-year varsity player, I continued to earn MIP and MVP awards in high school, and was honored to make the PAL NorCal All-League First and Second Teams during my later years. I was also recognized the Student Athlete of the Year as a triathlete playing volleyball and running track in addition to basketball for all of those years. These experiences have taught me a lot about overcoming adversities, teamwork, and leadership. More importantly, I learned that the relationships you create with your team and community are the lifelong awards from sports. I am an advocate for fostering community and connections through sports, and I truly believe that sports bring out the best in people. Having walked the path from beginner to competitive player, I want to be a guiding light for those just starting out or looking to elevate their development. My goal is to help players grow their skills while encouraging them to become better people throughout their journey. For over two decades, I’ve cultivated a deep love and understanding of basketball. I focus on skill development and strategic thinking, fostering both confident players and a genuine love for the game. I’m here to share that same passion with anyone who aspires to get better and compete to their fullest potential.

"We worked with Dre to help our daughter develop her fundamentals in basketball, and we’re really happy we found her!  Right away, our daughter felt a great connection with Dre, which I think is so important when it comes to any coach-player relationship. From there, Dre was able to quickly identify the areas our daughter could improve on while also recognizing the things she was already doing well.  She was always on time, professional, and really knew how to work with our daughter. We felt like our daughter learned a ton in the short amount of time they worked together, and we could already see the improvement.  We definitely plan to continue working with Dre as our daughter starts her school basketball season. Thanks so much, Dre!
